Spaulding & Teddy: We're mighty impressed! Teddy was 2 and Spaulding was already 4 before we got our JOTW! You are a quick learner! We'll have to come back occasionally, to see if you can teach us more things that work with parents. Parents are hard to train, even for teddy bears!Oh, we're much older now! Spaulding will be 7 -- seven -- on Sunday, and Teddy will be 5 at the end of January, so, hopefully, we can help you get ideas on how to train parents, too! Kehehehehe &

Santa is watching!

  • Parents: 8/10 Dad didn’t tell me off for spilling my drink over our new sofa..or he hasn’t noticed yet!
  • Pre-School: 8/10 Yellow paint hair does work on me!

Held an emergency meeting around the sand pit this morning…turns out that legal action against mum & dad is not an option..shame! Our senior advisor (she is nearly 4) suggested the Psychological approach seems to work the best in most case scenarios.

Back home mum & dad pull out the big guns…note to all my friends…don’t underestimate your parents…

‘Remember, Santa is watching you and he knows if you have been a good girl and won’t bring any presents if your not good’…didn’t see that one coming!!!

Potty trained = big girl now = good girl = presents = I conceded

I am not viewing this as losing a battle more of a learning curve, never engage your parents in battle unless you know all the facts and what ever you do…make sure Santa can’t see you!

So that’s the end of the Potty training period of my life..I’m a big girl now and with it comes many responsibilities…. on a plus note I get to wear my Dora pants.

Spilt what drink on the sofa? You were told no drinks in the lounge…We’ll discuss this over breakfast.

Take it from this grandma, blame the spill on the dog (or cat). You're not supposed to let on you know anything about it. Congratulations on JOTW, you have the makings of a Pulitzer Prize winner!
